Cold Feet Closing

So you went through the trouble of inviting someone to take a look at what you're doing and they said yes!

Not only did they agree to look, but they actually did! So now comes the close....

Well no worries this is where people either get nervous or hope the miracle of them saying I want to join comes in. News ALERT if you don't ask them more than likely they aren't going to join.

* Fun Fact: The #1 reason people don't join a company is because they were never asked to join.

One of my favorite quotes is by Eric Grzybowski, "We don't work for free, so if you show someone and don't ask them to join you just worked for free!" 


Here are 3 Major Things You Must Understand To Get Better

  1. No Addiction to the outcome: Your only job in the business is to get someone to an exposure (Johnny Wimbrey). You have to become like an airplane you are leaving with or without anyone person aboard. You have a schedule to keep and that schedule is your future you! 
  2. Pre-strike: Before you start the presentation, tell the person why YOU are doing the business. It can't be for materialistic reasons. Make it personal, make it authentic and most of all be vulnerable. People can see the fake and feel the real.
  3. Assume The Close: When the presentation is over assume they loved it and with excitement say, "So you're ready to get started RIGHT!" This shows your excitement and commitment, which is contagious. When you assume they are joining they are more likely to join.

Meet Someone and Stuck With What to Say......

We've all been there! Brand new and excited about your opportunity! Then we meet someone and either stumble over what to say or throw up all over them.

Tired of not getting the results you want? Well this video might help.


Wanting Better Results

I remember being brand new in the profession and getting so excited I would talk to everyone. They called it the 3 foot rule, meaning if someone was within three feet of you talk to them about your opportunity. 

I'm not apposed to this, however you might want to be armed with some skill to become more effective. 

I wanted better results so I sought out some additional training and Todd Falcone who is a great trainer in the profession had a course on cold market prospecting, so I bought it. The course changed everything for me!

I went from hardly getting anyone to take a look at what I was doing to having everyone wanting to see what more money was about. 

Now I know what you're thinking, I have to spend money on a course. The answer is NO! 

However, you might want to consider the alternative to this.

1. You can talk to a lot of people with what you are saying and with sheer numbers you can make up for what you lack in skill.

2. How have your results been thus far?

3. If you don't invest in yourself what is the real cost? What's the alternative?

Most of the time people will focus on past experiences and current circumstances when they think about life. Is this you? Well, I'm here to tell you that it is not serving you?

1. What are you grateful for?
Is it your job? Is it your business? Is it the people you are surrounded by? What are the things when focused on make you happy?

The attitude of gratitude is what keeps our heads lifted and focused on the right things.

2. How can I make someone else happy?
Who can you write a note to, to help brighten up their day? Who can you call and say I've been thinking about you and want to wish you well?

Giving positive energy will give you positive energy and will come from unlikely sources.

3. Who can I get around to make me better and get me on path?
You can't always meet with the people who are successful in your field but in this day in age technology can have you listen to them or view there videos. I'm a huge fan of Ray Higdon. www.rayhigdon.com 

No one ever listens to failures so don't you do it either.
