3 Reasons Why Your New Years Resolutions Will Work

Are you serious about your 2015 resolutions and making them work?

This post will help you identify the 3 things that will help you set and reach your 2015 goals.

Serious About 2015?

With January rapidly approaching most people are gearing up for another run at resolutions for the New Year! In years past people have talked about goals that will set them up to have the best year ever, except 2 weeks in or 2 months into the year the goals disappear. Why is that?

I'm sure that you're saying Randy we all know that New Years Resolutions don't work, to my reply then why do people set them? I know if you're reading this post you are someone who is serious about not only setting yourself up for success in 2015, but actually achieving those resolutions!

Reason 1: Why Your New Years Resolutions Will Work

Most people state their resolutions and say I want to lose (blank) amount of weight or I want to make (blank) amount of money. Those are great for starters and are usually high on the list as goals for most people. Here's the first reason why you will accomplish those resolutions this year that you didn't in years past.

You will do what every person who has accomplished their resolutions and WRITE THEM DOWN! This is the easiest thing to do and yet the easiest thing not to do. When you write your resolutions down they have to be 2 things:

1. Written where you can see them everyday, so it keeps you focused on what you want to accomplish this year.

2. Not only written down, but read as well. I recommend reading them twice a day, once in the morning when you wake up and again before you go to bed.

Doing these two things with written down resolutions will increase your chances of actually accomplishing them in 2015.

Reason 2: Why Your New Years Resolutions Will Work

When planning your resolutions for the year instead of doing what the typical person does and just write them down wishing upon a star that it will happen, you made a decision that this year will be different. You made a choice that failure isn't an option. Okay great then let's make sure we have our focus right.

You will do what every person who has accomplished their resolutions in the past did and that is IDENTIFY what it would mean to accomplish the resolutions. See often we focus on failure of those resolutions which gives us justification on why we didn't accomplish them in the first place. Here are 2 things that will help you see the resolution complete:

1. After reading your resolutions in the morning do a 10-15 minutes meditation on the accomplishment of them. Imagine what it looks like complete.

2. Pictures of the accomplishment of those resolutions. You can take pictures or get them off the internet of what your resolution finished looks like. Make sure they are a place you can see them!

Reason 3: Why Your New Years Resolutions Will Work

Why do resolutions break down in 2 weeks or 2 months, good question? Why does a person who is achieving at a rate that you wish you were and it seems that you just can't get off the ground? These are the questions that will haunt and kill your resolutions.

You have to do what those who have accomplished versus those who have not accomplished do. Well Randy what is the thing that every person who has created success done RUN YOUR OWN RACE. One of the top problems with people not keeping up with their resolutions is they are focused on others and what they are accomplishing. There are 2 things that will help change that:

1. STOP looking at how far you have to go instead look at how far you have come. Look at getting better and better everyday.

2. It's a Marathon not a sprint. The goal of a marathon is to finish versus in a race it's to be first. In a marathon if you cross the finish line you are considered a WINNER!

ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT 2015?

If you are serious about 2015 then my best advice get started in 2014! Get started today and get a head start on your goals for the new year by closing out the old year with a bang!

Un-cashed Checks

Ever wondered how you could turn the knowledge you have into checks? Today I attended a webinar with my good friend Ray Higdon and he talked about a concept that will help you cash those pay checks that are sitting around your house.

Watch the short video and you'll learn how to cash those checks!

Early Lessons

When I growing up my parents worked very hard. In fact my farther always worked at minimum 2 jobs. As I watched my parents working very hard I had no choice but to mimic what I saw.

So I started my first job working at a local indoor park. I would work as many hours as they would give me and ask to work overtime. Growing wiser I soon realized that working more doesn't always equate to capturing your dreams.

The New World I Never Knew

In 2010 I was introduced to the world of personal development. The first book that I was introduced to was Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. This book was the beginning of a whole new life. Prior to reading that book I might have read 2 or 3 books total in life.

After reading that book it was like being in a desert and someone had given me a drink of water, because all I wanted was more. That lead me to going to different classes and wanting to help others realize this seemingly hidden world.

Video on Un-cashed Checks

Now I know at the end of this video some will say but Randy you didn't tell me how to get the money. It's not all about the money, however for those of you who want to know how this equation works it's value equals impact and impact equals money. So go out and provide value and make an impact on someone's life, then the money will follow!

Feel free to share this video with your team or anyone else who might benefit!

To Your Success!

Did this help you? If so, I'd greatly appreciate you sharing this on Facebook.
